Dalam mengubah kalimat aktif ke dalam pasif, maka kita harus cari tahu dulu tenses yang digunakan dalam kalimat aktif itu sendiri. Setelah mengetahuinya maka kita tinggal menggunakan rumus aktif dari tenses tersebut.

Dan perlu di ingat bahwa subject di kalimat aktif akan berubah jadi kalimat object di kalimat pasif, begitu pula sebaliknya.

Dan berikut ini adalah rumus passive yang digunakan :
