A few weeks back I've read a specific book which later on happened to be one of favourites. The novel I'm talking about is 'Looking for Alaska' written by John Green - an american youtube and writer. John wrote it back in 2005, but it became really popular about a year ago.
The story takes place in the USA, where a young adult - Miles Halter - begins his first year in his new, boring university. Everything changes when he meets Alaska Young - crazy, intelligent and absolutely stunning brunette. Her worldview is so much different from everybody Miles has ever met. The story goes on as she teaches him some really important life lessons. As easy to predict - they fall in love in each other although they're never really together throughout the entire book.
I won't spoiler you the ending because ... well it changes everything. This book may seem like another boring, stupid romance but I think that you really have to read to be able understand it better.
