Last weekend I went to a Sting concert. Sting was the lead singer and bass guitarist of the punk-rock band The Police. But for the last 20 years, he has been a solo artist. His last concert was wonderful. I went with my friends and we had a great time. There were about one hundred thousand people in the stadium. Many of them were as old as my parents but there were a lot of teenagers too. Sting and his band played some newer songs. My favorite is “Desert Rose.” They also played some old favorites, such as “Message in a Bottle” and “Englishman in New York.” At the concert, my friends and I stood and sang all the songs with Sting. We know all the lyrics by heart. The next day, we couldn’t even talk because we had no voice. But I don’t care because we had such a great time at the concert.
