Nie wiem do końca co to są te STATE VERBS ale skoro tak się nazywają to pewnie wyrażają jakiś stan ogólny... Nie powinno być stative verbs tak wgl.?
- Boys usually appear to care a lot about looking cool in front of their mates. They seem to feel like the worst thing for them is being laughed at. They have their pride and they like to show off. I think what they also silently fear is being called a coward by anyone.
- I don't believe that girls have more time to study than boys. Many girls have to help their mums with all kinds of housework and at the same time boys can do nothing at all. And usually girls are expected to get better marks at school. I don't think the difference between boys' and girls' approach to studying has anything to do with time. There is this common belief though that girls have better motivation as they are encouraged by either their parents and friends more than boys.
- I personally don't see any reason at all why or how should schools change and become more boy-friendly. I can't imagine any reason why they should become more girl-friendly either. It appears though that they could be generally a bit more student-friendly sometimes. :)
