The night was cold and foggy . My little brother and I were watching a film in the livingroom . my mum was having a bath .
Suddenly all the lights went out . My little brother got scared and started to cry . I saked him to wait for me while I went to get some candles .
While I was going up the stairs , I heard my mum's voice say "Go to the kitchen and uplung the cooker " . so i ran to the kitchen and unplungged it. Two wires were showing . Then , I went to the fuse box and turned the lights on .
When I returned to the living room my mum was there . "How did you know something was wrong with the cooker ? " . I asked her. "What do you mean ? What's wrong with the cooker ? " my mum said .
I was scared but after a while I realised that the voice was trying to help us . Since then , I'm not afraid and I thank her for helping us .
