Why is it so important to know English and another languages? Knowing languages has a lot of adventages.
Firsly, it let you to know unknown culture - you can, for example, read about something new in English, Spanish or Japanese and know culture of England, Spain and Japan. You can know that there is a lot of fantastic things you haven't known and that may make your life amazing.
What's more, you can know a lot of fantastic people and befriend with them. Don't you think it's nice to have friends from England or Japanese? Ther are only pluses not for you, but - if you want - you want describe your country to your friends and, who knows, you will make them intersted in your country?
Secondly, if you know languages, you can find a better job - knowing English, German or Japanese will be your andenvateges - especially if you know really exotic language like Japanese or Chinse. You will have a big supermancy in comparison with others.
Being good at languages let you be free in a travel. You can talk with people and ask for everything you want to ask. It gives you liberty and sense of freedom, because you aren't dependent on anybody.
