A young man was attacked yesterday by a group of white youths.
The man states that he was on his way home from work when he was approached by the group. Five young men approached the man as soon as they saw that he was Asian. They were all under the influence of alcohol. As the man stated, the group asked him for some money and when refused they started to abuse him verbally. When the man tried to walk away he was attacked. Anonymous passer-by reported to the police as soon as he saw the scene. In the matter of minutes a police car appeared and the attackers ran away.  The man was not seriously injured. Few hours later all of the attackers were caught by the police. The members of the group are awaiting their trail in local prison. Because of their age they will be tried as juvenile offenders, but their punishment is not known yet, since the police must finish questioning all the witnesses.

 

 

 

 

 

Młody, azjatycki mężczyzna został zaatakowany wczoraj, przez grupę nastolatków.

Mężczyzna twierdzi, że wracał do domu z pracy, gdy podeszła do niego ta grupa. Pięciu młodych mężczyzn podeszło do mężczyzny gdy tylko spostrzegli, że był Azjatą. Wszyscy byli pod wpływem alkoholu. Jak twierdzi mężczyzna, grupa chciała od niego pieniędzy i zaczęli go obrażać, gdy ten im ich nie dał. Kiedy próbował odejść został zaatakowany. Anonimowy przechodzień zawiadomił policję, gdy tylko zobaczył całe zajście. W przeciągu kilku minut pojawił się samochód policyjny a napastnicy zaczęli uciekać. Mężczyzna nie odniósł poważnych obrażeń. Kilka godzin potem wszyscy napastnicy byli złapani. Członkowie grupy czekają na wyrok sądowy w miejskim areszcie. Z powodu ich wieku będą oni sądzeni jako nieletni przestępcy, ale wyrok jeszcze nie jest znany, ponieważ policja musi zakończyć przesłuchiwanie świadków.
