This was the dramatic scene last evening on the road in York.Thousaunds of people were driving home from work when it started snowing.
The incident happend late yesterday evening.Suddenly,it started snowing and cars had to stop.
At first,people couldnt go home and they slept in their cars all night.The situation was very difficult because they couldnt do anything and stoched.The police werent there.Local people organized hot tea for all passangers in the morning.

After hours the police finally came. It stopped snowing. Snow removers started shoveling the snow. It took hours and hours. Local people organized lunch and hot tea. Finally the road was clean. Everyone rode home.
