It was Halloweeen. My friends and I decided that we would dress up as characters form children's stories. I chose to be Curious George, the funny monkey. My friends and I went door to door in our neighborhood; we knocked on every door and said, "Trick of treat." We collected the treats we received in our Halloween baskets. After an hour, we decided that it would be fun to go to the zoo and see how the animals would react if they saw our animal costumes. First, we went to the pinguin exhibit because my friend  dressed up as a pinguin. The bird just look at my friend for a while and then walked away. Next, we went to see the tigers. My friend looked very realistic because the tiger came near her and looked very interested. Finally, we went to see the monkeys. I, Curious George, climbed on the fence and made monkey noises. All the monkeys gathered around and started talking to me. Suddenly, the zookeeper came and said, "Now how did you get out of your cage, you little monkey?" He grabbed me and put me in the cage with the other monkeys. 

And now I am the most beautiful monkey in the zoo.
