Karol Dickens was borned on 7 February in 1812 near Portsmouth.
He was a writer. He worked as a journalist and than as a clerk. He write "Sketches by Boz" in 1836. He was twice in America. In his artwork was a lot of humour. He writed:

- Life and adwentures of Nicholas Nickelby
- Hard Times
- Little Dorrit
