Pulawy is situated in south-eastern Poland, close to it, tourist can find a big city the capital of region-Lublin. Pulawy is inhabitat by 50.000 people, so it's quite small but it's very picturesque. It's situated on the right bank of Vistula river. This is an old town with long history, some traditions and rich cultural life. The first name of Pulawy was ,,Nowa Aleksandria" because the Czartoryski family, Polish gentry were living here. In fact, the family established the town. Apart from Warsaw, Pulawy was centre of Polish culture. In the 19th century a lot of famous and important peoples come to the town to relax in a beautiful park, which had been deisgn by Princess Izabella. Nowadays, you can still be delighted by old monuments. Pulawy offers a great possibilites to relax. For example, you can walk near the local harbor watching the Vistula river, Secondly, in Pulawy there are a lot of nice shops, where you can buy fantastic souvenirs. At night you can visit one of many pubs, or restaurants. Younger people will have fun visiting local disco.
