The woman on the right is very attractive. She isn't smiling. In fact she looks upset.
The man on the left doesn't look happy either. He is staring at the floor, probably thinking about being somewhere else.
They both look unhappy and bored. They aren't talking to each other. You can see the lack of communication between the two as they can't even look at each other. It seems to me they are in a relationship. They look like they've just had a fight. That's why they are sitting there in silence and waiting for the other person to say sorry first.
