In the morning, troops under the command of King Wladyslaw Jagiello reached near the village Logdau and Tannenberg. In the distance we could see the meadow Grunwald. Moments later, messengers went to the villages to explore the area, and on the shores of Lake Lubień Chapel tent set for the king could hear mass. I want to describe an image made by Jan Matejko - Battle of Grunwald.The drawing shows the battle where the Poland and Crusaders were fighiting.We can see lots of knights fighting by starting from the Polish and Crusaders to Tatars and Lithuania.In the middle of the picture we can see fighting Crusader's master of monastery - Urlich von Jungingen.Everywhere is mishmash the horses are trampling dead knights and fighting with others.The picture has size 426x987 cm.It took many years to complete the work.The real battle happened in 1410 year at 15 July.I think this drawing is really interesting and wonderful, the artist - Jan Matejko made lots of great work with this.
