Subordinate conjunction merupakan conjunction (kata hubung) yang berada di awal suatu subordinate clause yang disebut adverbial clause yang berfungsi membangun hubungan ide antara subordinate clause tersebut dengan main clause (berupa independent clause). Main clause dan adverbial clause membentuk complex sentence.

Rumus Complex Sentence:

main clause + subordinate clause
