The largest agglomeration of Poles and people of Polish descent in USA is Chicago. The most famous "Polish" district is a Polish Village, known as Jackowo. The wave of immigration began in the 19th century. The biggest wave was in the beginning of the 20th century. Many stars have Polish roots, for example: Marlin Manson, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.
