At beginning 17th century on the throne was Jakub I, but Guy Fawkes wanted a catholic king so he and his friends planned attack on house of parliament. He was responsible for powder. When the plot was foiled, Guy Fawkes was caught, and sentenced to death, but he broke his neck jumping from the scaffold. On 5th November every year, British people set fireworks off in parkland and Guy Fawkes effigy is burned on a bonfire.
