I grew up on the coast in the south west of England.As a family we spent most of our free time outdoors .It was only a short walk from our house to the beach .In the summer holidays we spent all day there, taking a picnic for lunch.When we were very young we made hundreds of sandcastles , and stuck paper flags in them or decorated them with shells.When it was not warm enough to windsurfing , we just took off our shoes and socks and paddled up to our knees.My father made his own boat and we all learnt to sail. As a teenager .I preferred swim . I miss the sea now I live ina big city.
