Dear Tom,

I'm sorry I haven't written for so long but I was busy. I've heard about the argue with your sister and I'm deeply sorry. I'm sure she didn't mean to break your mobile phone. I realise it's extremly expensive but you both have to make up. You're still living with your family and you can't argue all the time. I know that siblings are difficult but sometimes you have to compromise. Just talk to her and explain that she can't take your stuff without permission.
