A friend from England wants to study in Poland. You are trying to find a room for her. Today you looked at some accommodation and made these notes.
Location and transport: Good points: On a quiet road. Regular buses to the centre. Bad points: Three miles from the city centre. Shops 20 minutes away.
Living room and Kitchen: Good points: Furnished and clean. Internet. has got a balcony with to sit. Bad points: Very small. No TV. No garden.
Bedroom and bathroom: Good points: Sofa bed so you can sit and sleep. huge modern bathroom. Bad points: Dirty rugs - need clean.
Overall impressions: Good points: Share with two other(friendly) students. Good price per month. Bad points: Kitchen equipment out of date. Maybe too quiet.
Należy skorzystać z tych wszystkich punktów i napisać notatkę(powiedzmy e-mail).
Pozdrawiam

Ładnie tak wykorzystywać frajerów online, którzy nie mają nic lepszego do roboty niż pisać cudze wypracowania? ;p
(kij, że frajerzy sami się rzucają, kierowani chociażby samozachwytem nad własną znajomością angielskiego... jestem daremna. xD)
Hello Maureen,
I did a bit of research on accomodation in my city, and found the following:
there's a quite nice flat some three miles from city centre. It's not the shortest distance, sure, but there are regular buses by which you can commute easily. Unfortunately, it's also a 20 minute walk to the shops, so you'll need to take th bus too. But the location is quiet and peaceful, which is a good thing since you'll be here to study, right? ;)
Two other students live there already and wanted to split the rent with someone else, so the monthly price in the end is really good. They're very friendly - when I came to check the flat, they welcomed me and I liked them instantly. And here's what I found out about the place:
it's fully furnished and kept clean (unless they only tidy when someone like me comes, but I doubt that ;)). The rugs are worn down and a bit dirty, but they said they are saving up for new ones. There's a comfy sofa you can sleep or sit on and the bathroom is really great - spacious and modern. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the kitchen - it's rather crammy and the equipment is out of date.
The living room isn't very big, either, and there's no TV. But they have a pretty fast Internet connection there, which these days more than makes up for lack of the telly. They don't have a garden, but there is a balcony overlooking the district, and the view isn't bad.
To sum up, I think it's a good place to live. It may be too quiet if you want to enjoy the night life in the city, but there are many upsides to this location, and, as I wrote, the buses to the centre are frequent, and the people you'll live with are great. I really recommend it if you come to study here.
Cheers,
xyz
