Po przyimku if (zdanie podrzędne) należy użyć Past Perfect, a w zdaniu nadrzędnym Future Perfect in the Past. Zamiast would może wystąpić czasownik modalny, tj. "could", "might" itp. Budowa Past Perfect: had + 3 forma czasownika. Budowa Future Perfect in the Past: would have + 3 forma czasownika.
