You will probably be surprised to receive a letter from a person whose you have never met, but I am writing to inform you that recently I have read the article in your newspaper where one of your journalist writes that „ Young people don’t really do antything to protect the environment. They don’t believe that they can make a difference”. I have to disagree with this article.
Firstly young people learn in school about that what can they do to protect the environment, thanks for it they know more than older people, and they do more for our planet. I met many people whose are protecting our environment for example they recyle paper, plastic, glass and other rubbishes.
Secondly young people are stronger than older so they can do more for example kids in elementary school in my village go out from school to pick up trashes when is the Earth Day.
Futhermore young people buy clothes in secondhand therefore they save water (to produce one pair of jeans we have to use 7000l of water).
Summarizing young people do many things to proteckt the environment.
