Something amazing happened to me: I filled a bag with hot air and it rose to the ceiling of my house.

This is possible because hot air is less dense than cold air.

So my brother and I tried the same experiment with a bigger bag and fire.

I put farm animals in a basket and they rose into the air too.

This worked so well that we filled a very large balloon with hot air and sent two people into the air.

They could even control how high they were flying.

I was very excited because this was the first time that humans could fly!
