Hi Mike,
I'm writing to you because there's been an interesting event at our school recently. Last Tuesday, we had a meeting with a local hero, Lech Wałęsa. He came to tell us what amazing things he had done for Poland and how they had happened. He told us how he had been fighting for peace and freedom, and how he had become the president of Poland. A part of the meeting was pretty funny because he was mimicking the behaviour of another president, who he had been competing against in an election. Overall, I think we had a great talk with him and he's the person everyone should look up to. Have you ever met a famous person such as Lech Wałęsa? I can't wait to hear from you.
