Walking in the mountains can be very dangerous if we don't obey some very important rules. One of them is a proper clothing for a certain weather. If it's cold you should wear warm to avoid being sick.As the weather is really awful you shouldn't go in the mountains at all and stay in the hostel. However if you go, you must keep to tourist tracks. Even if it doesn't snow and it's sunny.Leaving them and going through the ways that you choose on your own is strictly unacceptable. It's good for you if you have some plans and maps with yourself any time you go to the mountains. They can come in useful when you get lost what happens very often in this situation. It will be easier for you to get out of such a place and come back safe. Apart from that, you just have to know first aid rules if you want to go to the mountains. The circumstances don't matter. It's a basis in such an unpredictable and dangerous place like this. You must be able to do it even if you go with a guide. It's a shame for a tourist not to know it!
