Perfect Blue

 

“Perfect Blue”, marvelous anime, directed by Satoshi Kon in 1998, is a psychological thriller with a  lot of mystery.

 

“Perfect Blue” is a masterpiece exceptionally difficult to review, due to a very complicated plot. On the one hand, telling in the convincing way about its virtues without quoting details is difficult, yet on the other hand, betraying them could spoil the pleasure of watching this movie.

 

“Perfect Blue” is full of jumps emergency, torn off the place and the time of the action, moving it into the past, the future and many other places, so violently that at first it is disorientating the spectator.

 

Never mind the picture, backgrounds, special effects, the appearance of heroes or the music, just watch “Perfect Blue”. The strength of this production is in the atmosphere and the script, which was left well-thought-out in the really excellent way. Till the very end one is being kept in a suspense and remains unaware what is a truth and who is being responsible  for all, often dramatic, events, of which one was witness.

 

To sum up, “Perfect Blue” is an example of the very good psychological thriller. I warmly recommend it. One last thing the spectacular needs to know is that the movie is meant/allocated for adults rather than for children.
