Hmm, a ja sądzę, że raczej past simple, bo to czynności definitywnie zakończone, tak, że już po prostu albo nie chcesz ich zrobić, albo już nie możesz.

I always wanted to run in the middle of the night round my city. I know it's quite strange but I'm a crazy person who loves new adventures. And that's probably why I also wanted to swim the Ocean by myself with no help from the others. And I know how redicoulous it seems to be. I'm a strange person and so I always wanted to shoot and just to have a gun in my hand. Not to kill anybody, definately not that, at all. But I just wanted to test myself. I don't believe I could ever have a chance to do anything from my list of wishes but I understend that.
