“The Hurt Locker” was directed by Kathryn Bigelow in 2008. The genres of the film are action and thriller. A very realistic and exciting plot is one of the best part of “ The Hurt Locker”. It tells about sapper, who serves in Iraq. The main character is played by Jeremmy renner. He is great in disarming bombs, but he like a risk, so he does it in a unnecessary danger way. The main character is addicted to a war and emotions he feels during disarming mines. The problem of sapper’s work war was very well shown in this film. The acting  in discussed movie is unusual too. You can feel all emotions showing on a screen. Only one actor plays average, but happily he is not any of main characters. Settings in “The Hurt Locker” are excellent. Many aerial views of desert are really amazing. Some scenes are really frightening and sad, for example close up shot of small boy killed during battle. “The Hurt Locker” is one of the best films I have ever seen.
