The most popular touristic attraction in London is the Buckingham Palace. It is a must see for anyone going to London. The size and beauty of the palace is astonishing. It makes me envious of the queen, that she has so much at her disposal. Unfortunately the entire palace is not open for visitors. Only select rooms are available for tour. However elegant the palace is, I don’t think I would want to live there due to the fact that it's so old. It would be annoying to travel thou so many rooms, especially if you lost something there. You'd have to search through 20 plus rooms. The gardens outside the palace are also astonishing. There is a lot of space to play sports and the flowers are beautiful in the spring. The red tulips are easily my favorite flower in the enormous garden. The hedges are also masterfully tended by the queen's gardener I assume. What I really like about the palace is the guards outside the front entrance. When I see them standing still guarding the entrance I can feel their dedication to the United Kingdom. Their well vivid red uniforms also make them look very sharp. It must take extreme self obedience to stand at guard for so long. I would also highly recommend visiting Madame Tussaud's. It hosts a great collection of wax sculptures. The sculptures there are so accuratly made they almost look life like. My favorite sculpture at Madame Tussaud'sis probably Ronald Reagan's as his seems the closest to the real Ronald Reagan. Another attraction worth visiting in London is the London eye. It is a fun ride. It Also allows one to see all of London. The view, once the on top, is magnificent.
