Witam ;) podręcznik dla gimnazjum BLOCKBUSTER ćwieczenie 6 na 75 stronie.
You've read this in the school magazine: What will life be like in 100 years' time? Will the future be better or not? Write your article (100-120).
1 What are yougoing to write? 2 How many paragraphs will you write? 3 What will each paragraph be about?
b) What does the quotation mean? "Yesterday in not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose." (Lyndon Johnson)
Jest to bardzo pilne zadanie ponieważ musze je mieć dzisiaj . Mam nadzieję że ktoś podejmie się tego wyzwania zwłaszcza , że dałam za nie dużo punktów. z góry dziękuję;)

1. I am going to write an essay about how will the life in 100 years time look like. I am going to write about some things discovered by modern science, such as teleportation, and how would they develop over that time. I would also write about changes in communication methods that can develop over 100 years time which is linked to development of nanotechnology. 2. I will write about three paragraphs; first as a brief introduction, second will contain my predictions and third will be the ending paragraph. 3. First - background information about what I am going to write, such as why is this topic concerning and interesting. Second - the information bit, for example that communication methods can change, new medicines and other scientists' discovers. Third - what do I think overall, how possible are my predictions and why it is difficult to predict it.
B) This quotation means that we ought not to rest, but to fight; "win or lose" means that some action has to be taken to either win or lose. This also tells that there is no time to recover, and tomorrow is the last chance to succeed or not.
