It was really hot during my last summer holidays, but my friends decided that it wasn't hot enough, so the last weekend of august we went to Athens in Greece. We were staying at "Attalos Hotel". We had a very nice, clean and quiet rooms. Food in hotel restaurant was disappointing, too heavy for a hot summer days but the service was good and the staff very nice and friendly. Our first day in Athens we spent exploring the city and We visited a lot of nightclubs. Nightlife was great, but it’s very expensive, for example glass of Coca Cola cost me 5 euros.
On the second day we went to the Acropolis. We learned a lot about Greek history and mythology and took some beautiful scenic photos. Unfortunately one of my friend got bored, so after that We decided to visited Plaka area. There was many little shops, and cafes, and so many ancient ruins to see! We bought some gifts for our friends in Poland and ate some delicious bread, feta cheese, and chicken kalimaki.
Everything is more expensive in Greece, but I had a wonderful time! I would go there again, but I don’t think experience depends on place where are you going. It depends with who are you going to share that experience in the that moment.
