możemy zastosować w każdym zdaniu, ponieważ wyrażamy nimi swoje przekonanie, przewidujemy, że coś może mieć miejsce lub też nie, w przeciwieństwie do:
⇨ "I hope that ___ will ___."
⇨ "I hope that ___ won't ___." 
których możemy użyć tylko w przypadku indywidualnych preferencji, czyli naszych nadziei, że coś się stanie lub też nie [np. zdanie nr 8, a więc tym samym w niektórych miejscach możemy jeszcze wstawić "I hope that ___ will ___."] lub kiedy nie chcemy, żeby coś miało miejsce [np. zdanie nr 6, a więc możliwość skorzystania z "I hope that ___ will ___." jest tutaj bardzo ograniczona].
