1. As far as I'm concerned, the most significant changes are when a person move out. Moving out is a big step in adulthood - especially in youngsters life. A young adult, who moved out from their parents, can be more independent.

2, It depends.. Everybody needs approval from others. For example, many people think that, if they cut their hair, get a tatoo, etc. can make them a different person. But, changing your appearance can make you a bit of a new person, but after all you are still the same.

3. It depends. We can become more independent, more mature, or more childish. But we are still the same person. We can just behave like we have changed.

4. No, you cannot become an adult when you turn 18. Many people are childish for their whole life. Basically, a 18 year old person is still a teenager and do not now many about life.
