1. I do not agree completely with the statement Zappa mentioned. It is because not all kinds of art are supposed to be sold. Many people create art just for their own satisfaction and they do not at all seek any profit in it. They often share their work with the others but certainly not always plan to sell it.

 

2. I agree with the statement of Ralph Waldo Emerson (zgaduję, że o niego tutaj chodzi, tego Zappy natomiast nie znam). It is because the art is something that one has to be devoted to completely. Otherwise it would make completely no sense in getting involved into it at some larger scale. An artist should be devoted to the art he creates, so he can give everything he can in order to express himself.
