Cloud computing is a general idea of a group of computers connected with each other in a network. They deliver hosted services to us (users) over the Internet. These services can be divided into three main groups: IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. But describing what each of them means is beyond the scope of the question.
In cloud storage data is stored in a logical pools. Physically these "pools" are usually servers. As users we are not aware of the complexity of cloud storage. From our perspective it's one big data container in which we can store our data.
Host server is very general concept, therefore it's hard to give an unequivocal answer. Basically it's a computer that provides services over the NET. For example FTP hosting server - it provides storage which we can access by the FTP protocol.
