What are the most worrying environmental issues and what can be done to help?

One of the most known environmental issue is global warming. Some say that it won't affect our planet and us in any way. Some scientists disagree by saying that Carbon Dioxide is emitted into the atmosphere caused by our cars and factories. Which takes a great role in global warming. Although I think that if within 200 years our average temperature has increased by only 1 degree Fahrenheit we won't be seeing changes for a long time.
Another and greater issue is wildlife and nature in general is in danger.Controlling our garbage is one of the ways we can stop polluting our planet which makes lakes and other areas stay clean and makes animals' life easier.The less oil spills the better.There are so many endangered species that we must help as many of them survive. Shelters and zoo's are they way to go in this case. Making hunting or capturing animals illegal too.
To sum it up there are lot's of things we can to do help our planet stay clean and fruitful but nowdays most of it depends on the government.
