As you have already known I took part in an exchange. One of the students from The Netherlands stayed in my home for the week. I decided to do this because I thought that it could be a great chance to develop my speaking skills, also I wanted to learn something about the other country and culture.
Before she came I had made many preparations - I had to clean my flat and ofcourse her room. I bought some food and prepared a welcoming dinner.
My family have never met anyone from the foreign country so it was new to them. They really liked her even though only my sister speaks english. My mom said that she was a really pretty girl. It was so sad that she had to leave so early! I really enjoyed staying with her, I think that this friendship could develop into something greater...
