Dear Kate,

How are you? I hope you're great. Guess what? This summer I was in London. I worked there for 2 months. It was amazing. When I first came to London I just wanted to sightsee. But my aunt suggested that I should try applying for a temporary job. So I found this great restaurant and they needed waitresses. I needed money because travelling was expensive.

So here's what I had to do. First of all I was responsible for serving the customers. Secondly, I had to clean the whole restaurant. This job was good for me becuase we could take leftovers from the restaurant so I didn't have to pay for food. And the payment was great. I had many tips as well.

You should try and find a job during summer holidays. You can earn money for cosmetics and clothes. And also you could meet many people from all over the world and made new friends.
