I'm sorry for no e-mails from me in a long time! The reason why I haven't been writing to you is huge tornado, that hit my town. It all happened last week, at night! It was horrible! Suburbs are completely destroyed, 1000 people lost their homes! The tornado also destroyed my old school and local church. So many people are homeless now! 60% of my towns residents are without water and electricity.
People from Warsaw came here to help us 4 days ago. They brought tents, clothes, blankets and food! They also took about 300 people to other town, so they could stay in a school, because they don't have a house.
But this is not enough.. We still need more food, water and clothes. We also need money to rebuild our church and school. But it's a big amount, so we need help! Joe, maybe you could help us, and make a fundraising at your school? Explain to your friends why we need help and what we need! I'll send you some pictures of my town right now, so you can show them to people too. We really need your help!
