To Aunt Helen Subject My birthday 1 Dear Aunt Helen, Thanks a lot for sending me the magic set for my birthday. I'm really into magic tricks, and there are lots of new ones here which I hadn't done before. I was so excited when I unwrapped it because I'd never received a parcel from England! 2 We had a great time on Friday evening. By the time I got home from school, my parents had cooked us a special dinner, and my sister had made me a cake with 15 candles to blow out. What a surprise! We had a feast. :-) 3 Later on, we all went to the theatre. My grandparents had given us tickets for a new comedy play. It was such a funny performance. I've never laughed so much in my life!
