Justyna Kowalzyk has won another leg in the ongoing World Cup Cross Country Skiing tournament.
The Polish champ pulled off her latest victory this morning in Rybinsk, Russia. She trounced 29 other competitors in the 10 km Cross Country, an event divided into two segments: the first 5 km in classical style, the latter in skate technique.
Kowalczyk, who won three medals for Poland at the Vancouver Olympics of 2010, is the defending champion in this season's World Cup.
Today's victory consolidates her overall lead in the tournament, which takes in both sprint and long distance contests. Currently she is almost 500 points ahead of her closest competitor, Marit Bjorgen of Norway. She is amazing.
