Cari dulu volume balok seluruhnya :

V = PLT
= (12)(20)(3,8)
= 912 m³

Lalu kurangkan dengan volume yang bolongnya
P = 12 - (0,4 + 0,4)
= 12 - 0,8
= 11,2 m

P = 20 m

T = 3,8 - (0,4 + 0,4)
= 3,8 - 0,8
= 3 m

V = PLT
V = (11,2)(20)(3)
= 672

V = 912 - 672
= 240 m³
