Hi, my name Agung. I'm a second
grader. In order to celebrate the Republic of
Indonesia's Independence Day last month,
my school held a parade. Decorative bicycles
are one of those participating in the parade.
The principal asked that each class sent three
representatives. I was chosen to represent
my class.
The first thing I do is determine the theme.
The decorative bicycle theme that I chose
was red and white. The reason I chose this
theme is because red means brave and white
means holy.
Then, I prepared the materials beforehand,
such as bicycles, crepe paper, hot glue,
scissors, ribbons, and red and white flag
accessories. My mother also helped me to
buy some materials at the stationery store.
The next morning, I joined the line of
participants. Two of my classmates were
also there. The parade in commemoration
of the Indonesia's Independence Day starts
at 8:00 a.m. This parade was led directly by
the school headmaster.
During this decorative bicycle parade, I
wore a red and white shirt. With great joy,
I followed the parade route along with the
other participants. Various kinds of decorative
bicycles according to the theme walked slowly
hand in hand following the direction of the
committee while singing the independence's
day song and was witnessed by the local
residents.
It turned out that following the parade was
a lot of fun. We are all excited and happy.
