[tex]8 + 2x - 5 = 3x + 22 \\ 8 - 5 - 22 = 3x - 2x \\ - 19 = x \\ x = - 19[/tex]

comprobando

[tex]8 + 2( - 19) - 5 = 3( - 19) + 22 \\ 8 - 38 - 5 = - 57 + 22 \\ - 35 = - 35[/tex]
