A. (2x-5)=3
     2x    =3+5
     2x    =8
       x    =4
b. (2x+4)=(x-1)
  2x+4+1=x
     2x+5=x
     2x-x = - 5
         x = - 5
c. 3x+2 =x - 4
3x+2+4 = x
3x + 6  = x
 3x - x  = - 6
     2x  = - 6
       x = -3
