a. 2x + 3y - 4 = 0 => m = -2/3
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
=> y - 2 = -2/3 (x - (-3))
=> 3(y - 2) = -2(x + 3)
=> 3y - 6 = -2x - 6
=> 2x + 3y = 0
b. 4y = 3x - 6 => y = (3/4)x - 6/4 => m = 3/4
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
=> y - 5 = 3/4 (x - 3)
=> 4(y - 5) = 3(x - 3)
=> 4y - 20 = 3x - 9
=> 4y = 3x + 11
=> 0 = 3x - 4y + 11
c) y - 3x = 1 => y = 3x + 1 => m = 3
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
=> y - (-1) = 3(x - 5)
