x² - 3x = 4
x² - 3x + [(1/2) . (-3)²] = 4 + [(1/2) . (-3)²]
x² - 3x + (-3/2)² = 4 + (-3/2)²
[x - (3/2)]² = 4 + (9/4)
[x - (3/2)]² = (16/4) + (9/4)
[x - (3/2)]² = 25/4
[x - (3/2)] = ±√(25/4)
x - (3/2 = ± 5/2
Maka:
x1 = (3/2 + (5/2) = 8/2 = 4
x2 = (3/2 - (5/2) = -2/2= -1
