Subtitusikan (i) dgn (ii)

4x - 8 = x² - 2x
x² - 6x + 8 = 0
(x - 4)(x - 2) = 0
x = 4 atau x = 2

Untuk x = 4
y = x² - 2x
y = 4² - 2(4)
y = 8

Untuk x = 2
y = x² - 2x
y = 2² - 2(2)
y = 0
