1. For six years. (przez sześć lat)

2. For three months. (przez trzy miesiące)

3.Since 1982. (od 1982r. (nie stawiamy "r" przy latach w języku angielskim)

4. Since I was a child. (odkąd jestem dzieckiem)

5. For years. (przez lata)

6. Since Monday. (od poniedziałku)

7. Since May. (od maja)

 

1. Simon went to shool by bus yesterday. (ponieważ mamy yesterday, czas jest określony, a więc Past Simple)

2. Columbus discovered (discover) America in 1492. (jak wyżej, tylko że mamy tu rok 1492)

3. John and Ewa were married for six months. (jak wyżej, tyle że tu występuje jakiś okres czasu, a nie jeden moment, rok etc.)

4. I finished the book a few days ago. (jak wyżej...)

5. _____________ (you/ever/task) covier? (tutaj zostało coś źle przepisane, ale ponieważ mamy przysłówek ever, nie może to być Past Simple; wymogi zadania dają nam tylko Past Simple i Present Perfect do wyboru, więc odpowiedni czas to Present Perfect)

6. I left the office early last night. (j.w.)

7. I have notfinished my homework yet? (nie mamy żadnego określenia czasu, a więc używamy Present Perfect)

8. We had a chicken for dinner last night. (znowu określenie czasu i znowu Past Simple)
