The night was cold nad foggy.My little brother nad I were watching a film in the living room.My mum was having a bath.
Suddenly all the lights went out.My little brother go scared and started to cry.I asked him to wait for me while I went to get some candles.
While I was going up the stairs, I heard my mum`s voice say ,,Go to the kitchen and unplug the cooker``.So I ran the kitchen and unplugged it.Two wires were showing.Then, I went to the fuse box and turned the lights on.
When I returned to the living room my mum was there. ,,How did you know something was wrong with the cooker?`` I asked her. ,,What do you mean ? What`s wrong with the cooker ?`` my mum said.
I was scared but after a while I realised that the voice was trying to help us.Since then, I`m not afraid and thank her for helping us.
