Jan Henryk Dąbrowski born 2nd August 1755 year in Pierzchów. He lived there till he left Poland in 1766. He was polish general, senator-voivode and creator polish legions in Italy. He has two sons (Jan Michał, Bronisław) and two daughters (Karolina, Bogusława).
He is famous by helping Poland in recovery independence and creating polish army. He was a soldier and an poet - he wrote "Anthem of the Polish Legions in Italy".
Dąbrowski was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Virtuti Militari in 1807, Grand Cross of the French Legion of Honour in 1804, the Italian Order of the Iron Crown in 1806. In 1815, he was awarded the Order of the White Eagle and the Russian Order of St. Vladimir and Order of St. Anna.
He is very important because he was main character in helping Poland in recovering independence and giving hope for better future.
